Fatal Error: ELAB2_0056 Port '<port_name>' not found

Solution

This error is reported when the port mode (in, out, inout, etc.) in the component declaration does not match the port mode in the entity declaration.

If you are still receiving this error, please check the module that is being used or referenced in the higher level of your design hierarchy. It could be that this module is missing the given port. If you are still have difficulty, please create a ticket in our Support Portal.
