In the BDE editor, multiple nets change name after I modify one of them

Check if the wires have physical connections. If they do, changing the name of the net in one label updates all the labels that are physically connected to the same net. To isolate name change on one part of the net, disconnect that part of the net, then rename and reconnect the net.
